MLT Learn is developed for community, by community with the assistance of the MLT. These learning materials have been developed in partnership with speakers, learners and linguists, to reflect the wants and needs of the community and is an ongoing project that grows and changes over time. We currently feature language learning content for Kokatha and Yankunytjatjara.

Kokatha
Kokatha is a language of the eastern fringe of the Western Desert cultural area. The Western Desert cultural area is a vast inland region covering approximately one-third of the continent.

Yankunytjatjara
Yankunytjatjara is a language of the Western Desert language group located in the far north of South Australia. Speakers of Yankunytjatjara are commonly located across the Anaṉgu Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara Lands (APY Lands) and across other major regional towns including Coober Pedy, Port Augusta, Adelaide and Alice Springs.
